What this guide covers

MINI engines appear in photographed Mini stock and in Uncategorized related-group listings for Tritec, N12/N14/N16/N18, and modular B38/B48 units.
John Cooper Works outputs need the matching turbo and calibration.
Fitment

R50/R53, R56, and F56 are different generations. Countryman and Clubman share families but not always mounts.
Diesel MINI cars use N47/B37/B47 relatives — confirm the stamp.
What the workshop checks
Turbo oil feed and timing cover photos matter on N14/N18. Modular B48 units need clear stamp photos.
How to choose a listing
Search the Mini shop family first; use Uncategorized › MINI for extra codes.
